Interested in helping us in our mission? In addition to donating items to our thrift store, you can also donate your time. We are always welcoming volunteers!  If you are retired and looking to make use of God’s purpose for you, come join our family of intake personnel at our Emergency Assistance Office. Also, there are many volunteer opportunities available at our on-site thrift store. For those needing to fulfill community service hours for TN Promise recipients, Work Essentials, SNAP, or court-ordered community service hours you are welcome to complete these hours with us. Come by our office or call 731-925-6777 for more information about volunteering with us.

Hardin County Jesus Cares is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization, which means that all your financial contributions are tax deductible. Contact our office at 731-925-6777 for information on how you can help families in need through monetary contributions to our organization.

As our emergency services are largely funded by proceeds from our thrift store, we are always accepting donations of gently used items! Click here for information on items we accept and how to donate.  We always have great deals at our thrift store – we hope you will come and see us soon.

Volunteer Spotlight

Diane Zipprich

Meet Diane Zipprich, faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Savannah, TN and HC Jesus Cares. Ms. Diane was one of the first volunteers at HC Jesus Cares when we started in 2012. She has served as a intake specialist for over 6 years and has assisted thousands of applicants. She loves people and has always had the desire to help out anyway she can. She is an integral part of our volunteer staff and loving member of the Jesus Cares’ extended family. We are so blessed to have her on our team of volunteers.

From all of us at HC Jesus Cares we honor you Diane Zipprich for your love of people and your willingness to serve your community!
